The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Department (EECD), under the supervision of the Directorate of Industrial Collaboration, Ministry of Industry, is conducting the energy management basic training at the Union Minister offices in Nay Pyi Taw with the aim of using energy efficiently in office buildings. The energy management basic training was held at the Ministry of Science and Technology from 24th to 26th March 2025.

At the opening of the training, the opening addresses were given by Daw Tin Tin Htoo, Deputy Director General for the Directorate of Industrial Collaboration, Ministry of Industry, and Daw Nwe Ni, Director General for the Department of Technical and Vocational Education and Training under the Ministry of Science and Technology. Director Daw Naing Naing Linn provided the training and it was reported that there were 20 participants from Science and Technology
